The County Inn at Old Mill Stream is a unique adaptive reuse of The O'Connor Glass Factory, built of hand cut bluestone in 1890. Providing Pocono Mountain Lodging in the beautiful Delaware Highlands, the inn sits at the base of the Wallenpaupack Creek waterfalls and offers a stunning view of the river gorge and bluestone ledges. Rich in history, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The property is adjacent to the Hawley Silk Mill and has recently had a change in ownership. Management will be provided by the team at The Settlers Inn.
Interior spaces are currently decorated in a neo Victorian style. A spacious parlor offers several seating areas around a cozy fireplace. This sunny space leads to the multilevel decks that overlook the falls and gorge. Perfect for reflection, reading, conversation and parlor games. There is a computer with internet access for guest use.
